November 6, 2010 Learn how to design and create unique pieces of jewelry in this fun and inventive course. Jackie will discus and demonstrate traditional jewelry tools and techniques, then students will practice specific designs in copper as they learn various aspects of wire bending and texturing. When the experimenting is done, participants can create their own designs and fabricate a bracelet and necklace using fine silver. Students will have the opportunity to solder using a portable torch, and will be shown various finishing techniques.
